Work & auto injuries
Injured at work or in a car accident? We've got the paperwork.
Bayridge bills WSIB and auto / MVA insurers directly. On approved claims you pay nothing, submit no receipts, and — for most musculoskeletal injuries — need no referral to start.
$0 out of pocket
On an approved WSIB or auto claim, your insurer pays us directly. You never pay up front and never chase a receipt.
No referral to start
Physiotherapy is direct-access in Ontario — including most WSIB musculoskeletal claims. Just bring your claim number.
We handle the forms
Your clinician completes and submits the clinical WSIB forms and progress reports on your behalf.
WSIB claims
What to have ready for your first visit
This is the part most clinics never spell out. Have these on hand and your first session runs smoothly.
- Your WSIB claim number (or the date and details of your injury if you don't have one yet)
- The name of your employer and your supervisor
- A rough timeline of your injury and any treatment so far
- A device with a camera and space to move for your assessment
Don't have a claim number yet? That's fine — book a free consult and we'll walk you through reporting your injury and getting your claim started.
The WSIB forms, and who fills them
Reports your injury and gives WSIB permission to collect health information.
Reports the workplace injury to WSIB — usually filed within 3 days.
Completed by your Bayridge physiotherapist after your first assessment. We handle this for you.
How coverage works
Approved means covered — fully
Once your WSIB claim is approved, treatment for your injury is covered at 100% — there's no co-pay and no cap you'll bump into for standard musculoskeletal care. WSIB pays Bayridge directly under its Programs of Care, which run up to roughly eight weeks and can be extended if you need more time.
For auto / MVA injuries, treatment is billed to your accident benefits insurer under your claim. We confirm your coverage before we begin so there are no surprises.

Still wondering about something? Ask us directly — no obligation.
Yes. Your registered clinician takes a full history, watches you move, and measures range of motion and strength on camera — then diagnoses the problem and builds your treatment plan. Virtual care meets the same College standards of practice as in-person care.
